Fairfield development

WCS Care has received planning consent to extend Fairfield care home, ensuring its future of providing a home to, and employing, future generations of the local community. The extension is separate to the main building, so there will be no impact for current residents.

Work is underway and the house that sits to the left of the care home is due to be demolished. The plan below shows the layout and how the new care cottage, called Fair Cottage, will look inside once complete.

Fair Cottage, will use the latest design principles and innovations including circadian lighting and acoustic monitoring, providing a home to an additional 10 residents. We also plan to create a central plaza to give existing residents and their families a space to sit and relax undercover, with a café and continental outside-living feel.

Fairfield has been an important part of the local community for over 60 years, and we’re proud that we’re going to be able to provide a home, and a career, to more people going forward, securing the provision of private and socially funded care for Bedworth residents long into the future.
